Certification Exams Announcement from AEPA
Exam Scheduling Update
Alberta Environment and Protected Areas (AEPA) is excited to announce that WPI/PSI is in the process of migrating to a new exam scheduling system, which is a modern, robust, and proven tool for candidate scheduling and management and should solve several of the issues and challenges operators have seen.
Once the migration to the new system is complete, you will utilize a new scheduling platform that is much more operator friendly and intuitive. This new portal will allow the operator to schedule an exam, modify an existing appointment, confirm dates and testing location prior to booking and access score reports from your exam(s).
- Scheduled Candidates: Operators that scheduled their exam(s) in the old system will keep their existing appointments. However, after the migration, if you need to change a scheduled exam that was made in the older system, you must call PSI at 1-833-256-1420 to change that reservation (it cannot be done online).
- Unscheduled Eligible Candidates: All operators that have an active eligibility in the system, but have not yet scheduled their examination, will receive a new email from PSI with a link and instructions for scheduling in the new platform.
- Future Exam Candidates:
After the test taker’s eligibility is provided to PSI, the test taker will receive an eligible to schedule email. In that email, the test taker’s ID is provided. When the test taker goes to book their test, they will need to enter their test taker ID to link their account to their eligibility.
This migration into the new system is currently scheduled for December 12, 13 and 14, 2023. PSI will need to enforce a brief blackout period for those days. Scheduling blocks are in place and any candidate that had an existing appointment during this time has been rescheduled at no charge. Please reach out if you were scheduled during these dates (above) and have not heard from PSI to reschedule.
Note Level I-IV exams are now 3 hours and $106 USD.
