Description

*Waitlist is closed.*

Ground, aerial and submersible robotic solutions are enhancing operator efficiencies and providing safer working conditions. In this workshop, you will get an overview of tools that several municipalities have already started to implement.

Ground Robotic Solutions: Allow operators to autonomously collect stranded data. When these data are collected autonomously, it gives operators more time to focus on making important decisions and protect and optimize their critical assets. You will learn how SPOT, the robot dog, is changing the way we work.

Drones: Are becoming more mainstream and are now being used for multiple applications such as confined space inspections. You no longer need send people into hazardous areas because you can get the job done with a drone. You will learn what drones can do today and what is legally required to operate a drone in Canada.

Submersible Remotely Operated Vehicles: Can help you see and understand what is happening in underground pipes without having to spend a lot of money excavating. There are multiple options available and you will see what others are using to accurately pinpoint issues in underground pipes, or in difficult to access underwater areas.

When you put these technologies in the hands of your operators, you open a wide range of possibilities.
