Description
This two day course will focus on training operators in the most efficient use of Excel for daily data entry, monthly and yearly reporting. Excel functions, formulas and formatting will be discussed with “hands-on” water and wastewater exercises comprising the majority of the session. Most of the data will be given to students electronically to minimize the need for excessive “keying”.
Each student will receive a manual/workbook in class which has been specifically designed for this course. Information will also aid students in their required Data Entry reporting to Alberta Environment.
The CEUs from this course can be used toward the following discipline(s) for certification renewal:
• Water treatment
• Water distribution
• Wastewater treatment
• Wastewater collection

COURSE MATERIALS:
No manuals will be forwarded to students in advance of this course – the instructor will provide all material on-site.
LOCATION DETAILS: (map with details is also included in the registration confirmation document attached to the receipt or invoice emailed after check out).
-Located in the Stanley Engineering Building, main floor (11748 Kingsway Avenue)
-After entering the building, the College entrance will be on the right.
-Front desk will require sign in and attendants can direct you to the computer lab
-Free Street Parking is available on the side street in front of the business building.
