HEALTH & SAFETY INFORMATION:

To make our return to a full in-person event, the AWWOA and all venues involved for the Seminar will be following the Alberta Restriction Exemption Program (REP) and the latest Public Health Actions from the province.  The means that ALL delegates/attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and contractors will be required to show one of the following at the main point of entry and throughout the main venue at the Banff Park Lodge:

  • Proof of full vaccination (this means both vaccine doses must be administered 14-days prior) Records can be digital or paper copy but MUST include the QR for scanning,
  • Proof of negative, privately-paid test result within 72-hours of the time and day you are entering the facilities, or
  • An original (non-copied) medical exemption letter

Once proof of full vaccination is shown, a wrist band will be issued which allows entry throughout the conference spaces.  Please note that attendees may be required to show their wrist band at various entry points throughout the venue to gain access.

Testing Information
As per the REP requirements, copies of medical exemption letters and any test results from AHS labs, self-test kits and/or self-produced documentation of a negative test result will NOT be accepted.

The test result should be a written or printed copy that indicates the individual has tested negative for COVID-19 on a Health Canada approved rapid antigen, rapid PCR, or lab-based PCR test approved by Health Canada or the lab accreditation body of jurisdiction. Valid test results should be a written or printed copy that clearly outlines the type of test, time of sample collection, clear indication of a negative result, and laboratory that completed the test, if applicable.  For more details, see requirements for the Restrictions Exemption Program.

If your privately-paid testing is completed prior to -OR- on Monday March 14, 2022, those test results will only permit your attendance for 72-hours of the Seminar. Another privately-paid test will need to be obtained for the remainder of the week (until Friday March 18, 2022) for valid entry.  Click here for information on rapid testing options in Banff.

We will also be following the current mask mandate, which requires attendees to be masked at all times unless consuming food or beverage. We will continue to follow the latest updates from the province on the mandate requirements leading up to this event.
